It may seem like a no-brainer but apparently not everyone remembers… However, according to part 97, you MUST ID when sending commands via Touch Tone. As an example: “This is K0VQ controlling the repeater.” Thanks for your cooperation.

To call an IRLP station, enter the four digit DTMF number. To disconnect, enter 73.

To call an Echolink station, enter the multiple digit DTMF number preceded by a STAR. To disconnect, enter 73.

Always wait for a clear channel before using either echolink or IRLP.

IRLP shortcut to Grand Junction

Enter 82 on your DTMF keypad to automatically be connected to KE0TY’s node in Grand Junction. 73 to Disconnect or it will remain on and timeout itself after several hours.
